Thank you for your comment. I agree with your point on using synchronous messaging with message brokers. In fact I had to limit the scope of the message brokers within the book due to the vast scope it had to cover. Since message brokers are primarily used for asynchronous messaging, I have highlighted that use case within the limited scope. But your argument is valid.
